More than just another store
The Standard of Care
Growing up in Norway, natural materials were a way of life, rooted in my Sami heritage—a culture with a deep, ancestral respect for the land and the fibers it provides. I thought our family was done with four children, but life had one more adventure for me: a fifth baby who decided to arrive prematurely.
Navigating a third premature birth wasn't new for me, but it reaffirmed my standards. I had high expectations for what my son’s skin should touch, but as I searched, I realized no one seemed to understand how critical 100% pure organic wool is to a developing baby's health.
I am building this because I am genuinely concerned. Children absorb far more of what they wear than adults do. Their skin is their largest organ—delicate and permeable. We choose the pure path because while the world has enough clothes, we shall not compromise on our health.
My mission is to bridge the gap between Nordic quality and North American families. After a favorite wool romper finally tore, I felt the environmental footprint of ordering a single replacement from Europe was too "heavy" for our planet.
Through our carefully curated pre-order model, we bring the community together to share the journey. It’s an intentional choice to reduce our footprint while ensuring every piece is an heirloom-quality investment in your child's future.
"I refuse to settle for plastic-coated convenience. I am here because I genuinely care about the health of our children and the world we leave behind for them."
Heisann! Wool is cool.
