Clean Materials
We are intentionally "picky." At Little Mino, we believe the fabrics touching your child's skin should be as pure as the nature they were born from.
Our Hero: Organic Merino
Growing up in Norway, wool wasn't just a fabric; it was a second skin. We chose Organic Merino as our foundation because it is nature’s most technical fiber. It breathes, regulates temperature, and protects—all while being soft enough for the most sensitive newborn skin.
- GOTS Certified: No harmful chemicals, ever.
- Mulesing-Free: Ethical treatment of animals.
- Heirloom Durability: Designed to last generations.
A Standard Beyond Wool
While Organic Merino is our first love, the Mino team is constantly exploring the world for other fibers that meet our Norwegian standards of Clean. We seek materials grown with respect, processed without toxins, and built to withstand the beautiful reality of childhood.
The Search for Clean Cotton
Truly clean cotton is surprisingly difficult to find. Much of the world's supply fails to meet our ethical principles, either through hidden chemicals or unfair labor practices. We are currently vetting partners who can guarantee cotton that is as kind to the farmer as it is to your child's skin.
Coming Soon: The Magic of Alpaca
We are currently in talks to bring premium quality Alpaca to our community. Known for its incredible warmth and softness, it is a fiber we have long admired. This new journey coincides with our upcoming book, Mino's Trip to Paco, where we explore the highlands to find the purest fleece.
