Why Mulesing-Free
Matters to Us
At Little Mino, we believe that the energy of a garment begins long before the first stitch. It begins in the pastures. To us, "Organic" is only half the story—the other half is mercy.
The Standard We Refuse
In many large-scale wool operations, a surgical procedure called "mulesing" is performed on lambs to prevent parasitic infections. While it is done to "protect" the wool supply, it is often performed without anesthesia, causing immense pain.
We refuse to build our children's comfort on a foundation of animal suffering.
The Little Mino Path
We curate brands like Disana that source exclusively from farms where mulesing is strictly prohibited. These farmers use traditional, natural methods to keep their flocks healthy.
- ✔ Humanely raised flocks
- ✔ Pain-free shearing rhythms
- ✔ Healthy soil, happy sheep
"Growing up in Norway, I learned that we are the guardians of the nature that sustains us. If a brand takes a shortcut in the pasture, I know they will take a shortcut in the quality. I choose the brands that choose kindness."
